Artists 2024

The Festival Concerts will be pure delight as the Helsinki Sinfonietta will be back in Heinävesi and led by two great maestros Atso Almila and Erkki Lasonpalo. In the Concluding Concert the orchestra will be joined by the Dominante Choir known for intensive interpretations, enthusiasm and its luminous sound.

We will be enjoying performances by the excellent artists like soprano Hedvig Paulig performing the world premiere of Damian Rees with Janne Malinen, guitar and the soprano solo parts in Haydn’s Nelson Mass, the fantastic mezzo-soprano Monica Groop, the splendid young tenor Markus Nykänen and the great baritone Juha Kotilainen.

We are also happy to welcome the violinist Elias Nyman to visit the festival for the first visit time and the clarinetist Vivian Neff to join the concert with the sculptures by Taru Mäntynen. The artistic team of the Festival Juhana Kotilainen, Janne Malinen, Joel Papinoja and Ilmo Ranta will be strongly involved!

And there is no Heinävesi Music Festival without the Brass Septet Novus opening at the Heinävesi Summer Market!
